Town Center during the Holidays

 
The Ladies Decorating Committee was started by a group of civic minded women who over the years have decorated our town during the holiday season.

Over the thirty years of this groups existence, they have built a collection of decorations that grace every telephone and light pole throughout our village. Work on this yearly decorating starts in late September tying bows, fluffing wreaths and stringing fresh lights. Then right after thanksgiving the "next shift" puts close to 75 wreathes, 50 bell wreathes and countless lengths of garland on the town owned property to start the holiday celebration.

You will notice throughout this site that many photos contain a wreath or other holiday accents. You will have this group to thank for being the initial spark in our season spirit.

Volunteers are always needed and fresh ideas are accepted. Please contact us if you wish to help keep this effort alive.

By the way, men are needed too! They compose a lot of the "second shift" of installers.
