in the heart of Port Deposit's Historic District. The Bees Nest Bed and Breakfast is only a few short steps away from 5
distinctly unique local restaurant-cafes as well as the boating and scenic
beauty of the Susquehanna River.
Built in 1902, this 14 room Victorian Inn is a gracious
Painted Lady boasting an exotic example of Steamboat Gothic gingerbread rivaled
only by examples in
Savannah Georgia.
This unique home is one of Port
Deposit ’s most photographed.
Porch Appointments
were are all handmade in Port Deposit with a theme of
beehives
and honey dippers. Symbolic honey appears to be pouring off the
lower edges of the porch.

The Bees
Nest has three deluxe guest rooms, each
with its own theme and private bath, Maryland wine & cheese upon arrival, and a
generous breakfast each morning. To make the most of your bed and breakfast
experience we have many fine amenities: Turkish Robes, fine soaps and
lotions. We also offer high-speed wireless connection from all of the rooms in
the bed and breakfast so you can stay in touch, during work or play while you
visit.
Take
time to relax on the Front porch wicker rockers or enjoy the sitting by the
garden pond in the courtyard patio in warmer weather; or when its cooler, curl
up by the granite fireplace in the living room. Whatever the season we hope to
provide you with a touch of Port Deposit's original Mayberry atmosphere and our
easy living hospitality.
